LOVE

(Daily-Christian Advent Series)

This week of Advent didn’t bring answers — it brought clarity.
Love isn’t the conclusion of the season; it’s the reason for it.
Not what God gives, but that He gave Himself.

ADVENT WEEK 3 - HE IS WITH US

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:20

The greatest gift of Christmas isn’t what God gives us —it’s that He gave us Himself.

Immanuel.
God with us.

Not God far away.
Not God watching from a distance.
Not God waiting for you to get it together.

God present.
God near.
God here.

When Jesus ascended to heaven, He didn’t leave you alone. He sent His Spirit to dwell within you. The same presence that lay in a manger… that walked on water… that conquered the grave — that presence lives in you now.

You are never alone.
Never abandoned.
Never forgotten.

In your greatest joy and your deepest sorrow.
In your victories and your failures.
In the ordinary moments and the life-changing ones —
He is with you. Always.

This is the love that changes everything.
Not just that God helps you, blesses you, or guides you —
but that He stays.

Pause & Reflect

When do you most forget that God is with you?
How would today look different if you lived every moment aware of His nearness?

I’m realizing how often I live as if God’s love is something I have to earn or revisit — instead of something already present.
This week has been a reminder to stop reaching for reassurance and start resting in nearness.

The Love of Advent

The fourth week of Advent centers on love — the love of God revealed through Jesus Christ.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
— John 3:16

Advent reminds us that love didn’t remain an idea.
It took on flesh.
It stepped into our world.
It came close.

Prayer

Immanuel, God with us,
Thank You for the gift of Your constant presence.
Thank You that I am never truly alone.
Help me to notice You today — in the big moments and the quiet ones.
Let Your nearness bring peace to my heart and strength to my spirit.
Remind me always that You are with me.

Amen.

Living Love This Week

As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, we’re invited to receive God’s love — and then reflect it.

Love shows up when we forgive instead of holding on.
When we serve without being asked.
When we speak encouragement instead of silence.
When we choose kindness in a rushed, noisy world.

This Advent, I’m learning to live less from the idea that God loves me and more from the reality that He is with me.

Because He is.
